Nevada has a lottery draw for desert bighorn(bonus point system). The State's wildlife department, NDOW, gives out more desert sheep tags for resident & nonresident than any other state. Approximately 200+ resident tags and 35+ nonresident tags were awarded for the 2018 season. The desert bighorn population in Nevada extends from the southern tip of the State, north to Interstate 80. Many conservation groups have assisted NDOW in relocating sheep to their historic range through out Nevada. The following groups can be thanked for expanding the area that desert bighorn now occupy.....
